Questions
Does Teleya include channels or content?
No. Teleya is a player. It plays playlists and portals you already have the right to use; it does not provide, sell or recommend any content or subscriptions.
Do I need an account?
No. Everything works on one device without an account. An account adds encrypted sync, QR device pairing and the internet remote.
Can Teleya read my lists or passwords?
No. Your library and source credentials are encrypted on your device with a key only you hold. Our server stores ciphertext it cannot open.
What if I forget my recovery passphrase?
Your devices can restore the key from your phone's secure backup, and you can add a new device by QR. If every device and the passphrase are lost, you can reset sync and start fresh — we cannot recover it for you, by design.
How many devices can I use?
Up to five devices per account, and you can remove one at any time. Watches do not count.
